"Elusive award winning performance poet Mat Lloyd is an angry middle finger to poetry purists. Arriving as a performance poet (in a sense) in 2005 he began performing locally and then in London. Within his first twelve months he had performed at the prestigious Jazz Cafe in Camden London, and won his first award. His first official collection ‘Demo Tape’ was released in 2009.
